Our strong leadership team is dedicated to positive social change and making a difference in people's lives. Guided by purpose and fueled by passion they work tirelessly to provide a strong organizational structure and oversee its programs and activities. They also serve as ambassadors and advocates advancing the work of TLF.

The leadership team comprises 13 members of the Board of Directors (9 in the United States and 4 in Kenya) who oversee the foundation’s mission, strategy, and operations. They come from diverse backgrounds with expertise in varying fields and bring with them unique skill sets that help ensure availability of adequate resources to support our work. They are passionate about the mission of the foundation and are committed to providing leadership, guidance, and oversight. T

The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the foundation, which include managing committees and volunteers as well as developing operational plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors. 

The leadership team will engage proactively in strategic planning to move the foundation forward and provide budget oversight to ensure proper accountability of resources. They play a crucial role in successful fundraising that is a key source of funding for our projects. They also play an important role advocating, attracting volunteers, networking, and building the foundation towards sustainability and greater strength.
