Gail Moriarty

Gail is retired from a 32-year career in public education. She has taught elementary and middle school math and art, as well as providing support, coaching and professional development for teachers in grades k-12. Her professional focus was mathematics education. She has taught classes for pre-service and practicing teachers at San Diego State University, and provided mentoring to pre-service teachers at both SDSU and The University of San Diego. She is currently taking classes in Spanish, with the goal of travel in Spanish-speaking countries. She enjoys sailing, hiking, long beach walks, and time spent with friends. She is excited about serving in the board and hopes to actively use her knowledge and experience to build the organization and help children in Mosoriot have access to educational opportunities that prepare them well for life skills.
